Hi, I’m Gearóid.

This web space is to highlight my abilities as a developer of MultiMedia technologies, as well as to reassure visitors that I’m not a computer program designed to build websites to entice them into purchasing male enhancement drugs.

I graduated from Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Tecnology in 2008 with a BSc in Computing in Multimedia Programming and sensing the approaching financial recession decided to hit the books for another year and achieved a BSc (Honours) in Computing in Multimedia Systems/Web Engineering in 2009.

CLG An Cheathrú Rua is one of the best known Irish speaking football teams in the country. They wanted an easy to navigate full Irish language website to promote the club.

As I scour the internet everyday I decided to start a blog "Oldbabyface" about things that interest me. This includes videos, images, movie news and comic related articles. The blog title ‘oldbabyface’ is what can commonly be heard as I’m being ID’d in local drinking establishments.

Remember when you met a nice girl and decided to bring her home to meet the folks? All is going well untill your mother busts out the old family photos... I feel like that right now...

I built this portfolio when I first left college ( IADT ) back in 2008 so it's well out of date, but feel free to look around. I'm in the process of building a new wordpress portfolio site so check back.
